Richard Stephens was born and raised in Bolton, England, on July 12th 1976. The oldest of four, he attended both St. Joseph's RC High School and Thornleigh Salesian College. Realising his love for acting whilst still a teenager, Richard played with Bolton Little Theatre and Octagon Theatre as an Actor and learned the art from other method acting professionals. Working in a variety of jobs to earn a living, Richard kept with his ideals and ambitions of pursuing his acting dreams - appearing in many television commercials during the early nineties. In June of 1999, Richard completed Undergratuate study in Law at the University of Glamorgan before emigrating to Los Angeles where he married Kristina Guerrero. From the dawn of the millennium, Richard worked for Print Models Network and Central Casting in Universal City, Hollywood, as a film actor. Throughout his career to date, Richard has been privileged to work with iconic box office stars. His first role saw the debut of a glittering film career after Richard appeared alongside Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in Spider-Man (2002) and quickly moved on to work with Laurence Fishburne on action thriller Biker Boyz (2003). Further exposure to television shows encouraged Richard to apply as a contestant on the hit ITV reality show Britain's Got Talent (2007) before taking up more exciting film roles in box office smash hit successes including The Social Network (2010) and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011). The most recent outing for Richard places him at the very heart of the action opposite Johnny Depp for a second time as he steps into the shoes of Tony in the ground-breaking new action thriller 21 Jump Street (2012). A highly passionate and creative-minded professional of stage and screen, Richard draws on his personal experiences of life and his unique perspective of the world to fuel his storylines for some of the most unforgettable works ever created. Richard is now in talks to develop two major feature films that are based on published novels that he has written. The project currently scheduled for production is a brutal and gritty action drama called "The Clandestine" which focuses on one man's war against volatile Afghan terrorists in reprisal for the loyalty killing of his wife and daughter. This film not only stars some of the biggest A-list actors in the world, but also marks the debut for Richard as a film director.
