P. Michael Hayes II

For 10 years Hayes has been in Austin, Texas working in the film industry as an Actor, Director, and AD. In April 2026, he produced and directed his short film "Good Script Wanted" (a 20-page raunchy critique of the film industry) with his writing and producing partner. Hayes specializes in physical roles and action-pieces, most notably winning "Best Fight/Action Sequence" at the Prison City Film Festival in Huntsville, TX. He continues to study the Meisner technique and regularly attends acting workshops around Austin. Once an internationally touring trombonist, Hayes is settling in as an Austin-based film maker. He studied theater and music from an early age and attended Louisiana State University where he graduated with a BA in Music Performance. Upon graduating, Hayes moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where he began his involvement in film, landing lead roles in independent student films as well as smaller roles on larger sets.
