John Anthony D’Andrea was born in Youngstown to Tracy DePizzo D’Andrea, and his Father Daniel D’Andrea, both of Italian descent, stemming from areas in Italy such as Colobraro, and North of Rome. Both families originate from Youngstown, with the DePizzo’s being one of the first business owners in Brier Hill. His Mother is also part German and Irish, and his father is part Lebanese as well.
He grew up playing sports, fishing, and hunting. In 7th grade he discovered his love for acting. After 8 plays and musicals at Cardinal Mooney High School, and winning two state championships in speech and debate, he moved to Pittsburgh to attend Point Park as an Acting Major. After 2 years of training, and acting in 8 short films shot by cinematography majors at his university, he decided to move back home to Youngstown, OH and pursue the restaurant industry in 2020.
In Youngstown he continued to act, doing short films, theater, and acting in other local projects. In 2024, he moved to Sarasota to Florida to work for his family at an Assisted Living And Memory Care. In 2026, he moved back to Youngstown to pursue his acting career where he currently resides.
