Lara Wolf

Lara Dalileh Wolf is an Iranian actress and singer born in Tehran and raised in Zurich. Fluent in English, Farsi, and German, she also speaks conversational Italian and French. She holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Zurich and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City.

An original member of the Primitive Grace Theatre Ensemble, co-founded by David Zayas and Paul Calderon, Lara continues to develop her work across film, television, theater, and writing.

She is best known for portraying the Judean Queen Berenice in the Peacock epic series Those About to Die opposite Anthony Hopkins, directed by Roland Emmerich and Marco Kreuzpaintner. She previously appeared as Princess Nour in Quantico on ABC.

Lara stars opposite Golshifteh Farahani in Reading Lolita in Tehran, directed by Eran Riklis and based on the acclaimed novel by Azar Nafisi. The film received both the Audience Award and Grand Jury Award at the Rome Film Festival.

In The Performance, directed by Shira Piven and starring Jeremy Piven and Robert Carlyle, Lara portrayed a cabaret singer in Nazi-occupied Berlin, drawing attention for her command of multiple languages and musical styles.

She will next appear in Hotel Tehran, the upcoming action spy-thriller directed by Guy Moshe, alongside Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi.

With roots spanning Tehran, Zurich, and New York, Lara brings a rare combination of emotional intensity, cultural fluency, and psychological depth to her work. She divides her time between the United States and Europe.
