Matthew Kay was born in the South West of England. He trained in stage and musicals in Bristol before moving to London in 2018 whereupon he continued to train under Andrew Darren Elkins.
The release of "Healing Andy" saw the beginning of Matthew's career launched at Fright Fest 2025, just months after "One Brother" won best short at Cannes, in which he played a small role.
