Giorgos Chraniotis is a Greek actor who has built a consistent presence across television, theatre, and entertainment programming. Raised in Athens, he initially pursued studies in physical education before turning to acting, training at the drama schools of Nikos Vastardis and Giorgos Theodosiadis. He made his television debut in 1994 with the series Vanilia sokolata (1994) and soon followed with appearances in Oi agnoimenoi (1994). He gained early prominence with a leading role in Oi dikoi mas anthropoi (1996) and continued to develop his career through a range of series including To hroma tou feggariou (1996) and Ta hromata tis agapis (1996). Wider recognition came with his starring role in the comedy Gia mia gynaika ki ena aftokinito (2001), followed by leading parts in Zevgaria (2002) and the Greek-French historical production Le dernier seigneur des Balkans (2005). Over the years, he has appeared in numerous popular series such as Pote den xereis (2005), Entimotatoi keratades (2006), To kokkino domatio (2005), 10i entoli (2004), and Oi istories tou astynomou Beka (2006), demonstrating versatility across genres. In addition to scripted work, he has participated in television entertainment, including Dancing with the Stars (2010) and as host of X-Player (2012), while later roles in series such as To soi sou (2014) and Zoi mou (2016) reinforced his standing in contemporary Greek television. In 2017, he expanded his public profile through his participation in Survivor Greece (2017), where he remained for several months and reached the later stages of the competition.
